Pest management is extremely important in the retail environment as brand is everything. Protecting stock is very important and many retail insurance policies do not cover the destruction of products by pests.

Rats, Mice, Feral Pigeons and Moths are the most common pests found within this industry and it is imperative to have measures in place before an infestation sets in.

  • Supermarkets have an abundance of stock food sources. The fact that deliveries are daily indicates the largest entry point of all (back door) and many rodents dwell and wait in these areas. Bait Stations and monitoring devices with regular inspections are advised.
  • Where Clothes or Furniture are the main stock - Moth larvae are able to devour and destroy clothes, textiles and materials within weeks, causing financial lose and concern on all stock and sold items.

Though this particular method is highly effective it leaves no residual properties so an insecticide is used in a spray form to leave a lasting layer on the surfaces.
  • For Large Retail Sites we offer Perimeter and Boundary Protection. Using a combination of rodent Bait stations we are able to push and keep out unwanted vermin with regular inspections and active control throughout an annual contract.
